The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Pediatric Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our breadth of pathology, cohesive team and breathtaking geography make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
Our team provides comprehensive 24/7 inpatient coverage in our state-of-the-art, 4-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Expandable to 8 Beds. Inpatient consults and procedures. You will admit and manage patients in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering quality care and the opportunity to spend time interacting with patients and families.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Nursing; Certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by an approved national certifying body; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification; PALS, certification; State of Alaska Advanced Practice Nurse License. Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing as an NP in a PICU is required.
